The meaning of this doll was determined by what herbs were put in it.
Traditionally, it became a family talisman, helped to clean the energy in the house, and ward off diseases. But in general, this doll is versatile in use. With its help, you can protect yourself from evil forces, attract love, or make a toy for the child, helping him to remain full of energy.

In the old days, people used gathered herbs to banish diseases. With its help, they also got rid of headaches, treated nerves, improved sleep. Our ancestors used Kubyshka like this: If someone was sick in the house, this doll was placed at the head of the patient’s bed.

Also, if a person had something that hurts (stomach, head, etc.), the amulet was applied to a sore spot – and after a while, the person felt relief.
This talisman was hung in the house above the cradle of the child and protected him from bad dreams and evil spirits. Periodically the doll was crumpled in the hands, and the smell of herbs spread throughout the house. When the doll stopped smelling, the herbs in the doll were changed.
