So many of us like to feel a good relaxing massage at the end of a long busy day. Bulgarian rose oil has the ability to create positive emotions and a calm mindset which makes it perfect for any massage oil.
When creating your own DIY massage oil it’s important to choose a good combination of a carrier and essential oils. For this recipe, we will use sweet almond oil as a carrier because it feels good on the skin and is high in oleic acid which reduces the blood pressure.
What will you need?
4 ounces sweet almond oil1 to
2 drops rose otto oil (Rosa damascena)
1 to 2 drops chamomile oil (Chamaemelum Nobile)
1 to 3 drops tangerine oil (Citrus Tangerina)
Mix all the oils in a clear bottle. Apply topically on the skin where needed.
Special day idea:
One great idea especially appropriate for any special moment would be to combine the massage with the strong aromatherapy effects on the body and mind. If you don’t have a diffuser you can use an aroma lamp. Just add 2 drops of the oil.
Diffusing the rose otto oil can create a wonderful love experience and environment for your massage. It’s no news that this oil is referred by many as the love promoting oil.
Safety Tips:
Always be sure that you are not allergic to any essential oil because they are highly concentrated and potent. It is recommended to make a skin test before using it if you are not sure whether your skin will react. Apply one drop on the elbow dart area and wait 48 hours before using oils.
